Bank of America

I know nothing about law issues, but if boa received tax payers money ( public money) for a bail out, what they are doing, & political, can that be discrimination?

maybe some person with knowledge of this could enlighten me.

By the way, Cole, they can't go out of business because "We the People" keep bailing their sorry butts out!!! If the government wasn't in bed with them they would have been gone years ago.

So how is it ok for them to do business with Bass Pro Shop when they clearly sell complete rifles? I bet BOA doesn't pull the plug on them. If they don't stop doing business with Bass Pro Shop, that should be part of this story too.

I will never deal with Bank of America in this lifetime. And i will spread the news, maybe they should change ther name to Bank of communists

Very informative thread and posts. I have forwarded Kelly's written statement of events to a friend and former colleague, a retired police Shift Captain and manager of a large retail gun dealer in the Southern US(I'm currently in Canada). All of the agencies in that area appropriate arms via their facility and it will get the word out to a large number of people at once.

Living in Canada, I can certainly appreciate our US 2nd Amend. rights and the firearm freedoms we enjoy. I also, like some others, see this as a form of descrimination and prejudice.

Regards

Bass Pro has a live chat feature, I just chatted with them and sent them a link to this thread. It will take someone high profile like them telling B of A to pound sand before they will begin to listen.

It is them we need to be contacting, no B of A. B of A could care less about a single consumer, but a customer like Bass Pro, that is a different story....

I can only imagine the conversation between Obama, Geitner, Pelosi and Holder. They all must be rolling on the floor over how they stuck it to gun manufacturers/owners. Geitner will probably fogive all the BoA "student loans" next.

This is why our GOVT want total control of the banking system. They will use these type actions to eliminate operating capital to all they oppose.

We need to save our local banks and repeal Dodd/Frank!!

Old Doug

Thanks for your card information. I do not have any dealings with BoA; however, I noticed that AAA handles a BoA VISA card. I am a member of AAA. I plan to shortly be writing a letter to AAA stating that I will not be renewing my membership with them if they are still using BoA for their VISA card when my renewal comes up...and the reasons why.

Thanks,

Danny Biggs

Well done! But all of us telling them Well Done is not enough. We need to copy this message and send it to every person you know, whether they are 2nd Amendment friendly or not, SEND IT! This is our fight folks and we better be in this fight or we will be doomed, it is REAL.

This is the fifth or sixth forum on which I've found the info. I think it started out at benchrest.com but am not certain. It even showed up on my state's concealed carry handgun forum. Fortunately it appears to be making the rounds.

Hogan,

I wouldn't have a dayum thing to do with BOA other then THEY bought out several companies I deal with! McMillian may have fell victim to this as well.

At least they have the most foreclosures on record as we speak!

I don't think McMillian is going anywhere with or without BOA!

Too bad to hear of their trouble.

Who stated their in trouble?

I agree Wayne and Bradley. Why on earth would someone post a comment like that? What could they possibly be thinking? If I posted a comment like that, I would have to expect the good members of this forum would take note and outcast me forever. The Boss should remove that comment and ours as replies to it so this thread remains positive as it was before that post. I am not for censorship, but that comment was, well, I won't say what all I am thinking. Unbelievable.

Robert,
I had to edit that post as it wasn't nearly as nice as it is now, your spot on as usual though and I am not going to have Paul remove mine I will do it directly after I post this, Thanks again for the insight.
Wayne.

On another Bank note; my wife reminded me that several years ago, we had a revolving account with a local gun store Carters Country in Houston that was held by Wells Fargo. We received a letter from Wells Fargo that after we paid off the balance, they would no longer be backing them because they sold guns. I did a search on the internet today and there are are few posts on other forums about this but not much on it.
