They want $70 for the download---OUCH.
I use the "Ballistics" program from Johnathan Zdzairski(sp)? on my iPad Touch and it is far more than adequate for me.
I think it cost me 12 or 20 bucks a couple of years back. I get constant updates (Included at no additional cost) from him. I can put the iPad in my pocket or there are rifle mounts available if you so desire. I can get real time environmental data at the site I am shooting by using the weather feature.
To summarize, no, I have not used the one you listed. Yes, I am very happy with Ballistics Program.

free is sometimes really good. i'v been using the free ballistic calculator offered by hornady for 7 yrs and have used it's data to kill ghogs at 500+yds on three occasions. countless shots between 300 and 450 yds have been spot on! they offer a newer program now that allows entry of more data. my biggest mistake was not understanding "sight height". the program has an entry of 1.5 in and if your sight height is more than this shots beyond 400 yds go high and after i understood the meaning of sight height, my shots are poiJ=poa.

I would like you to list the program/apps name,
then test, using the below information and provide the results you got, using YOUR ballistics program.

Check if the software calculates the effects of head and tail winds on downrange velocity.
This is easy to test, just enter some convenient values for muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient, and bullet weight.
Next enter a wind speed of around 20 MPH and set the direction to be a head wind (12 O'clock or 0 degrees), and record the calculated velocity for 500 yards.
Now change the wind direction to be a tail wind (6 O'clock or 180 degrees) and compare the head and tail wind velocities at 500 yards.
The velocity of the bullet with the tail wind should be higher than the velocity of the bullet with the head wind by anywhere from 1 to 10 percent depending on the particular values you entered.
What did you get for results???

Nvreloader, I have the program that you listed, only when I bought mine it was purchased from Oehler Ballistics. I believe that Dr. Oehler of chronograph fame, designed the program. It is a very simple program to use and it is very accurate. Went on a antelope hunt in S.D. ranged my antelope at 535yds. I was sighted in at 200 yds. Took out my click chart made from the Ballistic Explorer program, clicked in and bang exactly where it should have gone. My friend and I have check this out on 3 different rifles so far, a 6.5X47 L, a 6.5X284 and a 300 RSAUM, the key is inputting accurate velocities, so a good chronograph is a plus. According to my program my 6.5X47 Lapua at 500yds would give me 2092fps in 20mph a head wind and 2119 in a tailwind, that's at 900ft elevation and 40" F temp.
Shooter accounts for headwind/tailwind. I have used Shooter, Strelok, Sierra, Lapua.
Shooter has been spot on when I enter everything in including weather data when the load was zeroed.
I used it two weeks ago at my first 1000 for my first shot. I had a known zero and I entered in all data and atmospheric conditions. Elevation was right but my wind call was off.

I plan on gettting a couple of these programs for the home PC and in the field use and only want the best for future range testing/shooting etc.

That percentage will be different for different bullets, atmospheric conditions, temp and elevation. If you give me a bullet you want I can run it but, if elevation or a single environmental input changes...so does your percentage.
The ballistic program Bryan Litz sells is Shooter with more bells and whistles.
It has not failed me first shot yet! The more data you can give it...the better.
Even input the atmospheric data from when you zeroed the load and it is as good as you can shoot!

First trip down this road, 
(I am dumber than a box of rocks and the Rock box packer, about this electronic stuff, so bear with me,OK.)
When I started this quest, I read most all the posts pertaining to these ballistic programs and devices etc, on this site and several other sites. I found that quite a bunch of guys used EXBAL and run them on the Dell Axim type devices etc.
The kids got me a new Dell Axim x51v PDA w/all the extra stuff, keyboard, chargers, extra batteries etc, etc etc. I was doing the happy dance etc. I went looking for a site to buy the Exbal program/app, only to find that It is not available anymore.
I also found out that none of the ballistic programs/app will run on the Dell etc. So, I have this Dell PDA device, that sets here on my desk, that I can't use for anything, that I know of??
Here is what I want to do, my reasoning for the 2 different systems listed, and I may be all wet in this idea.
I want to build a load for what ever weapon, test to make sure it is accurate enough to do what I want, then input this info into the home PC, using any one or ALL of several ballistics programs/app, and cross check info between them to see ANY major differences.
And I am finding out that several of these programs don't account for head/tail wind calculations, so those programs/apps are useless, IMHO.
Then take this information from ballistics programs/apps, transfer the required info to a smaller IPad type device, take this device/load/weapon to the field for shooting/testing, get the actual results from the field shooting sessions, record these results into the smaller IPad device, return home to refine the info.
Input the actual field testing results into the PC ballistic programs,
refine the results predicted, then start over again in the field shootin/testing etc, etc, untill I have a reasonable results that are as close as possible, as needed for my conditions when shooting etc.
This is what I want to do with my target/range results, for recording info etc, as I am all ready setting up to use XL to set up log sheet for this info etc.
I have a new Kestrel 4500, Garmin GPS and other toys that should or will provide any of the shooting site locations info, for the ballistic programs/apps info needed etc.
So, I started down this road a second time, I am in the process of getting a new desk top computer built with the XP program running it,( this one is now 10+yr old), here is the following programs/apps that I'll be putting on it:
