I got two mic stands from Grizzley.com
They were fairly inexpensive and work just fine.

I've also have 2 of them. They sell 2 models. I got the $16.95 ones. The 'heavy duty' model sells for $18.95. I wouldn't spend the extra $2. The ones I have are pretty heavy and I get no movement when using them.

I have the following to be of value regarding a tube mic support:
1) a number of good functional mic stands on amazon for not a lot of money
2) No 3 rubber stopper with a hole in the center works well with a bit of trimming (see attached photo)
