Bald Eagle vs. Whitetail Fawn

Probably not a lot of videos but it's very commonplace. We loose a lot of fawn every tear to a pair of eagles. 4 confirmed last year at my deer camp. All were killed in alfalfa fields. One high fenced operation because of the very limited understory was experiencing 20% + of it's yearly fawn crop.

It's common on the winter range here too. Eagles come hauling a$$ over the ridge and hit the fawns in the side or pick them up a little. Either way, then send them rolling down the hill and try to get a leg busted. It's mostly the big goldens that do the work here, the bald eagles are more scavengers.

Will save the back story but whilst looking for info on drones;

There's a utube video of a cpl Germans who "trained" (uhh,like you train a well bred bird dog to point?) a Bald Eagle to bring down a drone.This was filmed from the drones "P.O.V.".Drone was a sitting duck,once SLAMMED on the ground the Eagle sat there,sort of begging it to take off?

Very impressive.
