Backyard Buck

I drove an hour yesterday to hunting property for Ohio’s opening day deer season. Sat sun up to sun down and didn’t see any deer. Checked
trail camera in my back yard and this guy visited us at 8:10 PM. These little woods around our area so I wonder where he came from. Next year my garden will be a food plot!!! 6D661052-7651-423F-9DE6-3F9A7783E963.jpeg

Irritating isn't it? In the 90s I returned from a hunting trip to northern Missouri empty-handed. It was the year of the massive flooding, and all of the hunters from the Mississippi and Missouri river area swarmed into the area we hunted. Pure chaos with people wandering around and orange behind every tree. As I pulled into my drive I saw a massive 10-point buck standing unconcerned in front of my backstop. Of course, our season didn't start for another week!

:):):)By my rough count, I have 2 four pointers, 2 six pointers, 2 eight pointers and a nice 10 pointer coming to my feeding area, 60 feet from the house. They all show up and stare at the feed can, waiting for me.:D They move off maybe twenty feet while I put out breakfast.

Moved to the Country back in 1970. Folks came up for a visit and me and Dad thought we would go Quail hunting. Walked for a few hours and NEVER saw a bird. Got back home and sure enough, there was a covey of maybe 20 or 30 birds behind the house.

I don't hunt but looking out the kitchen window, I see the butt sniffer bucks following the does past the window. Maybe 10 feet away. They LOVE the fallen apples and pears.;)

My front yard this morning, can't see them very well, wife took the picture thru the front door... well the picture won't load, to big

Here’s a couple more. My wife and I called the eight point and nine point the twins. We watched them grow up from yearlings. They were 3 year olds when some of these pics were taken. We never saw them after last winter.
