I would be interested to see if he considered a firearm in violation of the NFA to be legally held, since the NFA is in direct violation of the constitution and has been for almost 90 yearsI truly hope u r right Larry. Here in our County we have a sheriff that states he will never take a gun from a person who is legally holding it. I believe he will stand up for us and the Constitution.
I cannot say but I do know he stands up ever chance he gets to defend the Constitution and will voice his opinion without being afraid to open his mouth.I would be interested to see if he considered a firearm in violation of the NFA to be legally held, since the NFA is in direct violation of the constitution and has been for almost 90 years
Most of these politicians probably don't even know what the NFA is, or care.I would be interested to see if he considered a firearm in violation of the NFA to be legally held, since the NFA is in direct violation of the constitution and has been for almost 90 years
Hitting ignore allows anyone to go un-challenged , when making character and integrity assessments about other men , whom they know absolutely nothing about . I found your comment to be very insulting to the majority of the members here . Many who are veterans , and have already made that decision more than once . Myself included . Maybe you should choose not to comment on certain types of threads , with rash remarks . That would also eliminate the problem . Or you could find that "ignore" button you referred to . That's just MY OPINION .Bless your heart. No one died and made me king sir, just offering MY opinion.
If you don't like my opinion you can always hit ignore.
SO as to not offend anyone, going forward I will wait for you to point to my corner for approval to speak so I will not be seen as speaking out of turn.Hitting ignore allows anyone to go un-challenged , when making character and integrity assessments about other men , whom they know absolutely nothing about . Have you ever read Heller? And which part of , "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" did you not understand ?
Read page 54 on. Yeah, you’re missing more than you know.Yes . Heller is referential to specifics relating to the District , and in Oral , it was so stated by Justice Scalia . Sorry , but I'm a strict Constitutionalist . I don't "read into" what is written , as ruled on by the Court . Am I missing some "interpretation" ?
“Business Law,” that’s funny!! Only part of the exam I missed the first time. Had a shatty professor.Ok . I'll get into it tonight . But I do read as written , without interpreting the meaning of the text . Used to drive my Business Law prof nuts , because he followed the liberal "changing document ideology" .

Probably a few, but with better than a 99% recovery rate, it never rose to the level of a national emergency. Our 'betters' still insisted on compliance.I wonder how many former members of this site can’t answer that question because they are dead?
Probably a few, but with better than a 99% recovery rate
Only if you count young people, whose risk of infection is high, whose risk of death is low, and who don't frequent this forum. Of the 550,000 COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. so far, 263,000 of them are men 50 years old or older -- i.e., the demographic of this forum.
From Levin et al. 2020:
"The estimated age-specific IFR [infection fatality rate] is very low for children and younger adults (e.g., 0.002% at age 10 and 0.01% at age 25) but increases progressively to 0.4% at age 55, 1.4% at age 65, 4.6% at age 75, and 15% at age 85."
For the vast majority of people on this forum the "recovery rate" is not 99%, and many who survive have serious, life-altering complications.
