I was told back in 1991 at Disney World that there are no thermometers at the parks to view, and the weather broadcast never give the actual temps or humidity levels for fear of chasing summer guest away.
At the time they were reporting 92-95* for daytime highs, no way, the asphalt around the parks felt soft and you couldn't be in the sun for more than 15 minutes. The kiosk selling water and soda had lines 10-15 deep from 9 A.M. until closing.
Never went back June July or August, although one September it was just as hot the last week of the month.
