Awesome Vortex Customer Service

Wanted to let everyone know what an awesome job the Vortex customer service and warranty dept.did for me.
Sent the scope to them because the magnifying ring turned extremely hard, almost 2 hands hard.
Received back from Vortex new scope with enclosed note stating , the scope mount had been over torqued and damaged the Parralax adjustment.. "So much for that gun shop working on my rifles. " I will be ordering new scope mount tomorrow, and mounting it myself.
Vortex extremely fast service, kept me informed that the scope was received, and let me know it was enroute back to me.
In todays world and the way things are being handled, good to know great customer service still exists.

A huge Thank You to the Vortex Optics crew

A shooting buddy just contacted Vortex C S and sent his scope back for repairs yesterday. He was very impressed with the manner in which C S handled his request. He said they sent him a pre-paid label to his email while on the phone with them and assured him his scope or a replacement would be back to him asap. Kudos to Vortex once again.

Yes and unfortunately some supposedly reputable gun shops do some shoddy work. Had them mount new scope, and mounts when I was working tons of O T. Thought they would do it correctly. I have the torque wrenches and correct bits, . I will take care of it.

Thanks

Just helped a guy out last week who had a shop mount and boresight a scope. Shooting all over the place at 100 yds. Scope was initially mounted with a few degrees cant, loose enough to able to twist and move fore-aft by hand, ring bases were torqued to probably 7 inch-lbs. Don't remember how tight the ring screws were.

Torqued everything up correctly with the scope aligned at least closer than it was, and the guy started hitting 2 inch groups (which I suspect was all him.)

I am firm believer the more a person can do for themselves the better. Dont mind helping, where I can, however some just cant be helped, if you know what I mean.

A friend took a fall on his deer hunt and his reticle became more of an X then a +. He sent it back to vortex and they told him he had over torqued three scope causing his issue.
I think they use that answer for lot of things. They fixed and sent him the scope back
