No, I believe it is currently only available for the A & D at this point.

I believe I heard Adam say that at this time he had no plans for the V4 for a Sartorious right now, he said it would need a whole new design and didn't feel it would bring anything to the table over the A&D. He said it wasn't as simple to convert as the V2 and V3 was, a lot had to do with how far the powder has to drop on the Sartorious scale.

Yes, a glass powder cup is included. As is a rigid, Plexiglas-style lid over the scale, similar to the Area 419 item.

Circuit board in housed within the body of the V4. Nothing will go into the A&D now. The V4 has a single connection to the 9 pin RS-232 connector on the A&D.

edit: This is technically a beta unit but according to Adam the hardware is pretty much set in stone and we are just testing out the software and real world use of it for any minor tweaks.

Thanks for the unboxing video, John. Looking forward to your other first impressions, once you're able to get it hooked to the FX-120i and fired up. Particularly interested in the new process for clearing the hopper of unused powder, given the very short connecting cable.

I two checked with adam on a V4 for my sartorius CPA324s, and he said the problem was with the timing of the powder dropping. I thought about shortening the glass panels to solve that problem, but in the end I love my V3 and how well it works. Yes the V4 is a bit more convenient, but still Ill stick with my sartorius for accuracy over the A&D. oh how did you solve the top glass holder. I cut a piece of polycarbonate to fit, and it works perfectly.

The machine shop we are working with is doing an excellent job optimizing for scale.
