Well, you guys who have one, go ahead and try this...
Take a cordless phone, not a cell phone, just a regular cordless phone, and call someone. While you are talking try weighing something, the same thing, over and over and each time with the phone in a different place relative to the scale. 2 inches away, a foot away, on the left, on the right, above it.
If it reads the same every time then scratch that off. At least for the phone frequency you are on.
Then try the same thing with your cell phone while you are talking with someone so its transmitting. If it reads the same every time, then scratch that off. You're solid.
Like I said, it could be the unit is shielded somehow, but it's easy for you to go test for yourself. But please don't defend the point if you have not actually tested for it.
The Sartorius I tested went nuts when I did this test but that was several years ago and technology has a way of changing these days.
