Auto Throw V-3 - lever problem

I have just upgraded to the V3 version with area 419 add ons. I believe I had it running fine but just started a different powder imr 4064 and problems started. This is a terrible powder in any powder dispenser but I want to know if it is the powder or another problem. When the auto throw starts up the arm will get about half way up and then stop and go up and down half way and never get all the way up to throw a load. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. When I operate it manually I can feel it bind halfway as if it meets resistance cutting powder and this causes it to try and recycle.

Before I adjust anything I thought I should check and see if anyone else has this problem....

I would email or call Adam. He has a vested interest in making sure his product works for everyone...and he knows more about his own product than anyone else as well.

Well, I thought of that but before I bothered him, I thought it might be a common problem and I could find the answer here like I have on a bunch of other topics. Also, when it’s on my mind is at night while I’m in my reloading room and during the day I’m at work with little time to call, much less remember. I will shoot him an email. Funny, tonight it worked fine for 90% of the time...

I have had mine do it occasionally with 570. I keep my hand by it and just finish the cycle by hand if it binds. It might happen 1 in 20 with that large kernel powder.

...I would still get Adam's blessing. Trust me, he's all about fixing stuff and if you have the cure I'm sure he would like to know.
