Its just like the California thread, voting will not get you out of the trouble you are in. Its too late to do it legislatively.
Cue my alter-ego scream at the sky inner pink hat weirdo self: "AHHHHHHHHH!!!! All those CRIME GUNS!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!A nightmare!

Very well said,Didn't say they were guaranteed. I said they have their origin in the Creator...they are bestowed as part of our nature, and are every human's right. For this reason to Take or to infringe upon them is a sin. And those infringed upon, while exercising patience and forebearance (see Declaration of Independance for a well written argument) the infringed upon is under no obligation to live in servitude to tyranny and, upon reaching the full forebearance, has not only the right, but the obligation to throw it off. Having done so, our founding Fathers then wrote the Constitution to preserve what they had already done. The written instrument is a record and a law. It can be violated. But in principle, an inalienable right is not bound by or limited to the amendment or the constitution itself. The Amendment simply enumerates the right that pre-exists it.
The guarantee is paid for in the blood of those that would defend it against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
This principle is NOT limited to those who "have the 2nd Amendment" . It is universal, if they would only fight for it.
Unfortunately you are a subject, not a citizen. Thank God for our founding fathers!I believe it all got through at 3am.
Protests banned. We know what that's about. See attached
Edit: attached is NSW only at this stage.

NO BELT FED MAGAZINES….
Gives you an idea about the folks writing up this smashed through legislation and their knowledge of firearms….
Australians don’t have access to to semi-autos much less a device that could use a belt feed….
They absolutely know that, but do not care.So sad that not one of these "law makers " has the brains to figure out that it wasn't the rifle that decided to kill someone.
I think if you look into it it's less than of a British thing and more an urban liberal mindset. I hope our friends in the US don't become too complacent. If things go south there the rest of us have no chance.Seems there’s a common theme in these allies of ours that still have a major British influence. I sure am glad and lucky that George Washington and the fellas did what they did.
