ATF finally reveals the plan on the mainstream media! I’ve been wondering when they would show their hand. Anyone that has bought pot at a “store” has had their ID scanned into the system.

This is nothing new. ATF has been saying this for years now. They even sent emails to FFL holders about it a while back. The chances of it being enforced are less than zero.

Didn't their budget increase by 2 billion dollars?

Any federal agency that receives more money WILL PUSH THEIR ENFORCEMENT.

I was inspected by the ATF biannualy when I stored explosives and MSHA(Mining Safety Health Administration) bi-annually when I was in business at every registered site and I can guarantee that when the liberals are in office more rules and regulations are passed and enforced. Without a doubt....

They really don't need to enforce it. They will just make an example out of a few people. So they can beat their chests and say look what we're doing, we are the ATF DAMMIT!!!! Then they will use it as an extra charge, when you do something stupid and get caught. Or when things are looking bleek again for the ATF they'll go arrest some pot smokers and say "look at all the guns we took from the drug dealers/users"!

This is the reason Michigan’s CPL no longer qualifies in lieu of a NICS check…. Michigan legalized recreational pot and the rest was history…

In this particular state, IN, weed isn't legal for any purpose. The GCA specifically states you can't use marijuana and have a firearm. It is fairly cut and dry.

This whole non-sense of the feds not enforcing the federal prohibition on marijuana and leaving it to the states is a different matter. Why do the feds enforce the registration & taxation requirements for NFA firearms even in states that don't require it? Pick & choose what laws to enforce.
