Im sure the alcohol comments are in jest. Usually these threads decline into "good i dont want dopers running around with guns " usually from the mouth of a guy pouring a whiskey to wash down his doctor prescribed narcotic meds. Its marijuana now but it WILL easily be narcotic pain meds and psychiatric meds next.

The only way to stop the Dems from trying to further limit who can own guns is to tie all major rights together.

If you can't be responsible with a gun you damn sure shouldn't be voting. If you're old enough to vote, you're old enough to be eligible for selective service.
I doubt they'll EVER bring that back...If they do you'll be an exemption if it hurts your feelings. BTW...The week before the "Weed Bill" passed they passed the Red Flag Bill..No knock, etc.

Ya know somebody will try the “I didn’t inhale” excuse.
Most gun owners know this already. I find it a bit odd that it took so long for the mainstream media to pick up the story after so many states have legalized it and so many unwitting kids have their IDs in the system. The thought that this is a maneuver to decrease gun ownership has crossed my mind. I mean, the Guberment telling people it’s OK for you to smoke your pot as long as you give up your 2nd amendment rights? They couldn’t be that devious, could they?

Hell yes ‘ if your an alcoholic or been convicted of a DWI check the box…
Isn’t it already frowned upon to be drunk with a gun?

Do you want more boxes to be checked?

As long as weed is illegal federally, why do we have to constantly compare it to things that are legal?

Are there not easy ways around this? If you’re going to use it, don’t buy it from a dispensary or something if you’re a gun owner. I don’t know. People can figure it out just don’t need gun rights bogged down with weed. Besides weed is trending in the legal direction everywhere and guns are not. I don’t think weed lovers have crap to worry about. Probably easier to buy weed than a gun and it’s illegal.

I guess Jan 2025 if another dem is sworn the outcome(fall out) of 08,12,20 elections will be readily apparent, even for the under 30.
