Well the only option is to spend hundreds of thousands in legal fees to maybe have a judge say that the ATF is infringing on your 2nd Amendment rights.
Then the ATF will revise that "regulation"(with the force of law) in such a way as to constructively have the same effect.

Talk: Complaining about the weaponized alphabet law enforcement. Talking to politicians.......that really could care less......but has to be done. Complaining in general on a forum such as this. Political involvement of any kind. Sending money to 2A supporting groups. Getting others to understand what is REALLY going on.

Nothing wrong with talk....but it only STARTS there. Don't let it END there.

Action: Get prepared for the possibility that talking will not work. Guns, ammo, fighting gear, water, food, shelter, get physically fit. How many of you actually have the gear if it comes down to a real fight? Plate carriers? Proper camo? A good class III battle helmet? knee and elbow pads? Assault pack? The gear for the assault pack? Thermal night vision? Plenty of mags and/or ammo for this type of situation? Combat medical gear? The knowledge to use it all??? Better get it.........others that took this time seriously will already have it......then get organized with others that are like minded. TRAIN TOGETHER, just in case it goes even deeper. Don't get caught with your pants down.

First of all, I am in complete agreement with the 2nd Amendment.

For many years, we have lived with the fact that certain aspects of firearms regulations were the law of the land. Well not really laws but rather rules and interpretations of ATF. Suppressors have been regulated by ATF as well as completely prohibited in many states.

Under existing rules, pay your $200.00 tax along with your application and after approval you could build your own suppressor or take possession of one you purchased.

The proliferation of Solvent Traps made it possible to circumvent every established rule regarding suppressors with impunity. In the past, you could purchase the solvent trap and as long as you did not alter it prior to obtaining a tax stamp, everything was legal and above board.

A new commercially purchased suppressor cost over $500 and in many cases just under $1,000. Solvent traps on the other hand cost less that $50.00. Own a drill and you can build your suppressor. That's something to think about. Do you think that maybe the commercial manufactures might have started all this by complaining to the ATF?

So the questions are many here. How many of you have bought a solvent trap and actually used it as a device to trap solvent???????

Why are the inserts included in a solvent trap? They aren't needed to simply trap solvent.

I have seen solvent traps being used at the range. One shooter demonstrated a converted solvent trap and a high dollar suppressor. I couldn't tell the difference in noise level.

While I am opposed in this new ruling, it is not hard to understand why it was enacted.

While I totally agree with your reasoning, I can't help but wonder about how these 3 letter agencies are ALLOWED to ASSUME AUTHORITY in the First Place with IMPUNITY
and Act on those ASSUMPTIONS Under the Color of Law??
Then I can't help but wonder how many Other 3 Letter Agencies are doing the Same
Thing with How Many Other RULES and ASSUMPTIONS For the Benefit of their OWN
DEPARTMENT of Responsibility???

I won't get into specifics about what I have. But having the gear and knowing to use it isn't enough. You need friends with the gear and knowledge and willingness to use it.

But WHAT will be the CONSEQUENCES To the ATF for acting UNLAWFULLY??
WHAT will be the CONSEQUENCES To the President of the U.S. for Acting UNLAWFULLY??
WHAT about the People that have been injured or damaged so far by the UNLAWFUL ACTIONS of the ATF and the President??
I certainly think there will be Class Action Lawsuits but it seems to me this goes beyond
that. It sounds to me like there was INTENTIONAL Deprivation and Violation of the
Basic Human Rights as is written in the Bill of Rights of the Constitution, namely the
Second Amendment.
What's to prevent them from doing the same or similar in the future??
Just asking for a friend.

Reading over this thread this morning. At the range over the last two weeks, talking to several shooters, I have not yet encountered one “old guy” like me...retirement age...who knew there was an “assault weapons” ban in congress. The only person who seemed to know was an early-middle-aged man who had immigrated from Lebanon.

It's been a couple pages back now but one poster took umbrage at my suggestion that members of congress may not be too bright. I used the term I.Q. and it's understandable that some people bristle at a metric that compares an individual to the whole.

So let's use some classic, long standing definitions.

Intelligence: The ability to acquire, understand, and implement knowledge

Knowledge: Awareness or understanding acquired through experience or study

I maintain that the people making the laws ( and those enforcing them) have no understanding or even awareness of the objects and activities they are regulating; they have no experience to inform them nor have they studied...they have not looked into how things like silencers work, how they are used, how effective and efficient they are. Their perceptions are formed by fictions. I maintain these congress persons at least in this regard are not acquiring, understanding, or applying knowledge. So I maintain they exhibit a below average level of intelligence.

For example, have you seen the video linked to in in the bottom forum here in which Congressman Cicilline, holding a very large graphic illustration, states that a pistol brace turns a “weapon into an automatic weapon.” His exact words. That statement is pretty dam dumb. Or he is depending on the fact that his constituents are pretty dam dumb. It's probably both; he can just say what he wants to be true without ever looking into it and nobody else will ever know the difference.

Now if you want to say these people excel at their game which is manipulating, pandering and becoming rich, well you have a point there. May I suggest a good starting point for someone who wants to be pro gun, pro 2A? Stop voting for Democrats.

IQ is a great measurement and basically the only useful, predictively valid, and repeatable thing to come from Social Sciences. Even nonsense like "multiple Intelligences" just reinforce the existent of g(general intelligence) which is what IQ tests.
IQ is just your capacity to recognize patterns quickly. You're presented with new information or stimuli and the speed at which you can understand it directly affects whether you can capitalize on it.

Of Course they do. What do WE expect them to think after all of the lies, propaganda

at the TV or go insane, I got interested research on a lot of things and What an
Awakening?? I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree either, but in this computer age,
