Area 419 zero press

I actually think the 419 press ability to lock down the turret is a great feature. Always bugged me when I saw my Lyman turret flex upward at the top of the stroke. I only loaded straight wall 45-70 on mine so I was not worried that much. But wouldnt a turret have to flex the same amount every time to get a consistent shoulder bump on a bottleneck cartridge? Just curious on what others think.

The turret on the Zero still flexes. You can use a feeler gauge on the back side to see it.

I purchased one about 9 months ago. I replaced a Lyman 8 station turret press. Yes it is much more accurate that that press. IT HAS NO SLOP. I did replace the handle with one of Inline Fabrications. I love the depriming system. Its clean! For pistol is have A Dillon 650 which is a good press but nothing is as smooth as my Zero Press. Could all just be in my head but I decided I was going to spend some money on my reloading set up and to be it was worth the money! Know this if you are a Veteran contact them and they give you 10% off of everything forever.

Not everything, just most the items they manufacture. Not talking ill of them, its a great program, just don't want people to get the wrong info.

I
I’m looking for people who have upgraded and can give their honest thoughts on the area 419 zero press. I currently have a Redding big boss 2 press, but I’m considering upgrading to the zero press. I don’t mind spending money on quality equipment if the investment is worth it. My questions are:

1. Is it really that more consistent than the big boss or any other quality press?
2. Will/could I see any noticeable difference in group sizing on paper with the new press?

I’m slowly upgrading my reloading equipment with an autotrickler v4 currently on the way. My other purchase I’m going to be doing in the near future is the new amp annealer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you want one go for it. Never owned one. Just read about them. They seem awesome.
