are wilson full length bushing dies better than redding

I have every die manufacturer's equipment on my bench. I have loaded about every standard caliber around and some wildcats too. Most of them will perform ok.

I switched to the Whidden FL bushing die on advice of a friend of mine. I use them for my 6 x 47 Lapua and for my 6.5/284. They perform flawlessly. I will stay with John Whidden's equipment from now on.

I'm new to the bench game so I have called the Whidden crew on many occasions for their advice. They have always gone out of their way to be helpful with whatever issue I have encountered. That means a lot to me so I will stick with them.

I have both Wilson and Redding FL Bushing dies for 284, I’ve had no trouble with the Redding, both dies size the same at shoulder and .200” line and both produce brass with acceptable runout for match shooting.. But the Wilson is noticeably smoother when running the brass in to size, less resistance against press handle..JME
