Are Lenspens safe to use on your optics???

Absolutely!

Be sure to use the brush to remove any grit before cleaning.

Edit: stay away from the cheap imitations!

For anything like oil or grease Zeiss lens wipes are supposed to be safe on lens coatings. Remove any dust or grit first with a puffer lens brush.

I've used the Leupold lens pen and I'm betting they don't make them. When used as directed, I see no problem. They work for me.

Like others have already said, I first use the brush to remove any grit, then use a lens wipe (bought at Target/Walmart in the eye glass section) and the flat part of the pen to wipe away any dust or spot. The wipe is moist with alcohol based fluid that evaporates in two seconds and leaves your scope lens clean and dry. I always carry a few in my range bag because in Texas we have dust.

Kindest regards,

Joe

I have one of these and never even really looked at it. I just blow on the lenses, roll up a wipe and gently clean the lenses.

I use a lenspen on 6-12 thousand dollar camera lenses with no issues.
I see no reason they wouldn't work well with your optics.

The first time you rub that pen across your lens without brushing of ANY grit or dirt, you ruin your glass. I ruined a C-More RTS sight with one..thought I had the glass brushed off good but didn't...I'll never use one again..
