I hear the 223 Wylde is a great chamber for heavier bullets but theoretically the 223 chamber should yield better accuracy with reloaded varmint bullets. I am going to build a precision 223 AR upper to which will typically be used by others that accompany me on ground squirrel shoots. Those guests will usually be shooting factory stuff. While it would be an advantage to be able to shoot 556 if 223 can't be found in a pinch I don't want to give away appreciable accuracy for the times I shoot it with precision reloads. Is there any data or first hand experience citing the differences in accuracy between the two with the lighter bullets?
