AR Receiver and mags that allow 2.35 OAL?

If there was an AR receiver that allowed loading to 2.35" with custom mags but also uses standard mags would you consider it? The cost wouldn't be near what some of the billet sets are. Could use 5.56, 6.8 or 6.5 Grendel mags. Any upper receiver would work. They may help get the 77TMK out there close to the lands.

High power used to have a Custom follower for magazines that single stacked 223 at a diagonal allowing longer seating. I would think these mag followers would be worth while, but I'm thinking the rest of us moved to one of the many alternate calibers long ago...

I would do the mag mod for 77tmk, or chamber the barrel in straight 223 vs a wylde of 5.56
