AR pistol

I have always been a Colt person with my AR Rifles.

What manufacturers have quality AR pistols? I don’t want to buy only to replace half of the parts.

The best explanation that I have heard is that you can install a brace, and take your "pistol" places where a SBR (Short Barrel Rifle) would require ATF authorization (like across state lines). I built one just because, out of leftover, take-off parts. It's a lead-spreader for me, that didn't cost me hardly anything.

I’ve had a few. Quality upper isn’t the issue. Marrying the proper gas, buffer, and spring is really hit or miss depending on caliber, bullet weight, and if it’s pistol or carbine gas.

Why? A brace is just as useful and isn’t a 200$ voluntary firearm registration

ruger makes an entry level one now.

can build one with aero precision parts pretty affordable. Since you usually buy colt bcm might be a good option

For use in the house a pistol is appropriate. A rifle, even if short has penetration and handling issues. Outside the house a carbine does the job close. Guess I still don’t get it.

Have a blackout and suppressor x2.

just thinking about using the surplus 556 ammunition on hand.

no good source for cheap BO ammunition and won’t use hand loaded ammunition for defense.

I’m looking for a handy firearm to that can use my 556 ammunition and my current suppressors for personal defense in light of current events.
