No they have regular barrels also, have had a few and they shoot well.i thought proof was all wrapped bbls ???
yes but that is completely opposite of the facts. chrome moly out lives ss in like chamber/like useHave at it then, whatever trips your trigger and shoots the best for you. Confidence in your equipment is paramount to your performance.
The general consensus of opinions on barrel life and performance is that stainless steel is superior to chrome moly steel. The bigger difference is the chrome line barrels by comparison. But the variance is how the barrels are shot. Often hot loads and longer runs will degrade any barrel/chamber no matter the construction or material.

If I recall it's 18in but I can confirm that later when I get home. You'll have to excuse my ignorance on AR10's but I don't know what "armalite config" means. Not sure if this helps but this barrel came off what was a Seekins SP10 308 that I bought brand new and as soon as I got it home I pulled the barrel off and put a new Proof 6.5 Creedmoor barrel, gas block, and new gas tube on it. Proof barrel was their +2 so I had to use their longer tube and the journal size was different for the Proof barrel so I had to install a different gas block as well that's why that 308 barrel includes gas block and tube.how long and is this armalite config or ??
Unless something has changed, Lilja barrels are button rifled, pulled button I believe, barrels, not single point cut like Krieger barrels. You prefer a button rifled barrel? I prefer single point cut and use Krieger and Lilja on mine. Just feel I get better accuracy from them and they are so much easier to clean.
You are correct.Unless something has changed, Lilja barrels are button rifled, pulled button I believe, barrels, not single point cut like Krieger barrels
