Anyone using Sellier & Bellot LR Primers?

I love the "Wolf Performance" (I think they are Tulas) L/R primers ABOVE ANY Federal 210's, BR-2's or Win's. I believe they come from one of the old "Eastern Block" countries, like the S&Bs. If the S&Bs are just as good as the Wolf primers>>> I will be in on them quick. Right now, I have enough primers to hold me for awhile..

I mic'ed some... But bare with me, my micrometer is not expensive one, and I hardly know how to use it. Dropped each primer 5 to 10 times during the mic'ing. Managed to drop the micrometer only once !

BR2 = 0.2110" x 0.1270" ( lot DO9X32 )
210M = 0.2110" x 0.1275" ( lot 2IG303 )
S&B = 0.2100" x 0.1240" ( 03 19 16 lot ? )

And they felt easier to sit into Winchester 308win brass compared to the other 2.

Shot no different than br2's, group size wise.

Thanks for taking the time to measure them for me.

I think .211 is the spec on them. In the days gone by everything always measured .211 to .2114 or .2115 and life was good. .210 is on the skinny side and I have a box of WLP here that measures .209 I don't know what the heck I'm going to use them in. If they don't press in firmly your bolt face is at risk of flame cutting. Looks like I'm going to have to carry calipers with me when I buy primers.

Well you could write the company, complain about how "out of spec" those primers are and how you spent your hard earned money to use those primers and now you can't due to that they may damage your firearm..

Essentially everything is manufactured to a +/- tolerance. We would be paying through the nose for zero tolerance.
