Anyone using Sellier & Bellot LR Primers?

I was at one point using WLR but, seemed to think the primer cups where not quite as hard/tough as the CCI 200s so, I switched. I also have used some 250s in some of my .308 loads as well.
With all that said I ran out of primers and happen to be reading this article linked below.

I was quite suprised the Chezc. made Sellier & Bellot tested best in the article.
I was in my local Cabelas and had planned to buy more 200s but, noticed they had one box of the S&B LR left. So, that article was on my mind so, I figured I would give them a go. I figured since I have a 1000 of the 200s being shipped/ordered if I didnt like them it wouldnt be a big deal.
I primed 50 fire formed Win cases today. The quality seems good so, I am kinda hoping I get some good results using them. I will find out this upcoming weekend.

Anyone here got any input on the S&B primers and what where you findings?

I have...6.5 Creedmoor. Basically equivocal to CCI BR-2 in ES/SD and maybe a dozen FPS increase in velocity but nothing significant. They are good primers.

All my friends switched over from CCI to S&B in multiple calibers when we couldn't find CCI or FEDs here, CCi are back on the shelves again but they are sticking to S&B

I'll echo this observation. very consistent ES/SD with these primers. I bought a pile of them expecting them to be "serviceable" in my plinking ammo, but after running them across the chrono, they were exceptional. Ended up buying another 15k over the past year with the regular Cabelas sales and discounted cabelas gift cards. For plinking primers, ~$18/brick AFTER hazmat, tax and shipping (if any, depends on the Cabelas codes at the time) these were great. For primers that matched up very favorably against BR2's, well, I'm stoked.

They seem to be a bit harder than, say, CCI 400's and they work well in my gas guns as well as my bolt actions.

Being a French Cajun from Louisiana, in my neck o' the swamp, Sellier is pronounced as you phonetically spelled it. Bellot would be Bel-oh or BEY-oh. The company is Czechoslovakian however, so all bets are off.

I used them in palma loads for a few years, and in my 260 prone gun with great success. I just got some more recently. I did try some in an M1 that I needed to load a few rounds for a fun match and had a couple pierce. But, never an issue in a bolt rifle.

I've been trying to find some of these in eastern Iowa with no luck. Went to Cabellas in Prairie du Chien and they were out of LR. Want to give them a try but hate to pay Haz Mat.

See the post above this one - one gent measuring them as just a tad under (.0005") CCI. Some say they are a bit loose, some are good to go with them. Personally I am buying a bunch!

S&Bs are a full .001" under my Tulas.

With Norma 284 brass the S&B seat a little more snug, i.e required slightly more pressure, than CCI 200 for me with a Lee hand primer. Ain't measured them though.
