Anyone using CFE223 in 308 FTR rifles?

Anyone have any positive experience with this powder?

Temp sensitive as some claim?

And does anyone know if Berger lists this combo in their manual?

Berger 175gr Tactical OTM shoots good in 1/12 twist
CFE 223 at 44.0 in WW brass with Rem 9 1/2 primer
This powder is the slowest powder I use in my 308 Win small window within OCW.

CFE 223 @ 45.3with 168 Sierra MK or 168 Berger Classic Hunter
CFE 223 @ 44.0 with 175 Sierra MK or 175gr Berger OTM Tactical

Everything Ive found says it is the same, or nearly the same as Power Pro 2000mr. I got identical loads in 223 with both powders, they looks the same, smell the same, taste the same.. If you dig deep into the interwebs you can find similar claims.

It is temp sensitive. But you being in the south, you might be ok with a hot summer load as long as thats when you worked it up.

I use CFE 223 in my hunting 308 . With 208 Amaxes it never shot a 3 shot group bigger than .4" from the bottom to the top of Hogdon's recommended charge range with high .1's in the low and high nodes. I settled at 43.4 gr in Palma brass with Remington 7 1/2 primers. Probably .010 off the lands as it is a hunting gun and that is generally where I start. It is a 10 twist Krieger HV barrel,so a little heavy to carry.Velocity about 2535 in a 28 '' barrel.I like the stuff. A fly is not safe at 100 yds.
