Anyone shoot a .30HART

Hi is anyone shooting a .30HART? I have a rem700 in .300wby and needs to be rebarreled and im looking to see how peaple like the .30hart. Thanks Zack H

Not enough gain to bother. Neck is too short. The extra powder and short neck will be hard on your throat. Matt

Load the 300 WBY with RL 25 and Berger 210, 215, and 230's....you can't buy that off of a shelf.

I was shooting with Bobby Hart a few months ago sighting in some long range muzzleloaders for a hunt. Bob brought a customers 30 Hart new build to test fire. He shot two sighters and the third was in the bull. Bob then fired two more rounds which landed in the same hole in the bull. It was under a 1/2" group with zero load development. Bob uses the same load to test every one of his 30 hart builds and he claims they all shoot that well.

300 Jarrett is an 8mm rem mag necked to 30 with a 35 degree shoulder. it is an excellent cartridge I assume the 30 Hart is pretty close to it. I always thought Remington missed it when they didn't bring it out. 8 rem mag brass isn't easy to come by from what I have seen'

How about a 300 Ackley (300WBY with 40 degree shoulder ) Got all ya need to make it happen- new Wby, brass, load data and all.

I have shot the 30 Hart out of several guns for a long time... Great caliber, very easy to load and does incredibly well at long ranges. Bobby is a great guy. Don't think twice...

Brother in law has a .30Hart and it is amazing. Bobby load works magic. It's a 28" light barrel contour on a Rem 700 laminate stock. Lrupold optic tuned to the 180 Nosler at 3350 real MV.

There is nothing wrong with a 300 WBY. The improved versions really do not have any significant advantage. In the hands of an accomplished reloader, none at all. Over the years just about every accomplished gun smith has created their own versions of an original case. All trying to get a little extra velocity, accuracy is debatable. If for hunting purposes, a game animal down really didn’t care if the bullet was traveling 200fps faster.
