Anyone observed a substantially longer barrel life with Melonite barrels?

Melonite on barrels has some time now and I am curious if any target shooter really noticed a significant improved on barrel life?

Any word from Highpower shooters? Palma and Long Range shooters? F-Class shooters?

My main interest is on 6BR and .308win barrels... if melonite really and significantly gives much more barrel life (accurate barrel life).

My BR barrel had 5000 rounds through it before it disappeared. A forum member didn't return it to me and he disappeared also.

Too soon to tell: only have about 1000 rounds through my 308. But I will tell you that barrel clean up is a snap. Carbon fouling comes out very quick and easy. Copper fouling is almost non-existent after getting the barrel melonited.
