I have a dual dasher project going on im going to do a 700/7.75 twist with a norma dasher set up, but i also have a 788 that will be getting a 10 twist barrel that needs less throat than .104. Well i think it does, I used a nosler 105 rdf at a common OAL length for .104 throat (memoery fuzzy but thinking 2.375) measured its length to ogive and then set a 60gr seirra at the same length to ogive as the rdf and only had about .080 in the neck. Now im not married to the 60grainer but this rig will be for varmints and lighter bullets will be used so less freebore will be nice thanks for any help
Also I'm not married to a norma length chamber i can trim off retired brass from the other rifle for my field rifle since it wont be used nearly as much
