I wonder how the quality is going to compare to the original 9422.I wonder how the quality is going to compare to Henry.

BINGO!I wonder how the quality is going to compare to the original 9422.
Receiver is mfg from a solid billet of aluminum. So... pretty much the same beginnings as upper end AR receivers. I have no problems with a 22LR being mfg this way.At that price, probably about like a BIC lighter, when it’s empty throw it away.
I sense a lot of aluminum alloy and plastic.
EwwwwwwwwThey say "precision machined aluminum" receiver and walnut stock and steel barrel. Sounds good to me. Henrys are slick and well-made, but they have a cast zamak alloy receiver. Almost certainly made in Turkey like their other rimfire rifles.
Don't jump in until you know how deep the water is.Woah! Where do I send my money!
