Anyone have Hornady snapsafe vault door?

Too late now but i was going to suggest stitching your cement blocks with cheap Re bar. Ceiling is another matter. Can that door be penned from the inside?

Can you post some closer photos of this? No kidding, this weekend is scheduled as my "gun rack" building weekend and I have been at a "concept" standstill. Like the shelves. Like the upper half circles. Need more detail and thanks in advance.
This is the best one I've got right now. I can zoom in on my phone and see it good when I click on the pic. I'll try and get over to the new house and get a better pic of it. Already gave my wife the "craft" project of gluing felt in the half circles.

Nice job. That is the same concept I used for racks in my gunshop back in the 80`s.They worked great. Looks like you used good spacing, which is important.I used rough lumber for the racks. Building was all rough sawn,so the racks went with the building. I lined the top with neoprene strips and padded the butt with the same.I don`t have any pics, but on the bottom between gun positions I put a 1/2" x 1" strip of wood that was covered with the neoprene to separate each gun and ad a little more protection when removing/returning the guns. Good luck. If I see the door here in Delaware I`ll tell them which way to go. Jeff

Snert: picture a 2x4 with 1” dowels.

2 inch holes? Im liking it a lot there Broke...is it a 2x4?
Yes. A 2x6 will get your scope further from the wall and you can always rip more off of it to suit you. We had to make one side higher up on the wall to accommodate my savage 338LM with a 20moa rail. The muzzle brake and scope turrets would touch the wall. You can see in the back there are two rows for shorter guns. I never have worked out the pistols. They my just go on the shelves.

Sorry snert. Textile mill running full tilt and just now got a chance to get over there. Hole saw is 2 1/8".

Broke! You are the man!

I got my base shelf done tonight, will anchor it tomorrow to the wall. Perfect timing with the photos too. I will be buying a 2x6 or two tomorrow on way home from church, and then it is hole drilling time! how much space between your holes seems to be "enough" (edge of hole to edge of hole, or center to center). I do not have a 338 LM, but I have several old 40XB with 28 inch barrels. I expect I will have to run two like you did. I have short guns too. I will take photos when it is painted. (Caulk and paint make a carpenter what he ain't)
