Anyone have experience with 150 grain Nosler LRAB & Yotes?

The BC of the 150 .277 is a mighty .625. I am wondering if anyone has blasted a yote with one and did the bullet open up. I would like to have my 270 win in BAR be my windy-day Yote blaster, but all of the other high bc bullets are made for big game. The LRAB looks like it would open up on a thinner target like a yote as opposed to a deer sized critter. I was looking at the 130 berger, but I have my doubts it would open up on a yote. I shot a yote onetime with a 140 berger in 7mm rem mag and rolled him. Only to see him get up and trot off. I am looking for expansion. Thanks.

I don't think the LRAB is going to expand a lot on a coyote. It's a bonded bullet so unless you hit bone goon in it my just punch through. It'll kill him just fine but not open up a lot of think. If and when it does open up you won't have much coyote left though.

I've shot the 150s quite a bit between 100 and 1000 yards from a .270. I can tell you from my experience the BC is closer to the .560-575 range based on what it took to get my gun dialed in at long range.

It'd be a fun long range coyote setup but I fear what the fur would look like when that baby opens up!

Guess Im looking for the impossible. High bc and ability to open fast like a varmint bullet. The way nosler advertises the LRAB, it seemed like the silver bullet, if you pardon the expression.

Especially at this time of year, (End of the Fur season) I'm just looking for a fast kill. I have a 243 win, 88 bergers @ 3200 that i am happy with. I just want a High BC in .277 that will kill fast. I tried SMK, and they killed, just not as quick as I would like. The 88 bergers are like lightning.
It sounds like the LRAB will open on thinner mass, as opposed top a Berger 130 say.
