Anyone ever try one of them 6.5 Creedmoor's ?

I just sold my Ruger RPR in 6.5cm and bought a bergara hmr b-14 in 6.5. Loved the RPR but just to heavy to use for anything other then a bench gun and I liked the 6.5 so much I want to hunt with it so that's why I did what I did.
I have the Bergara LRP ELITE in 6.5 Creedmoor. Not a hunter so the weight isn’t a problem for prone or bench. It’s my first rifle. Recommended by my brother: x marine into shooting for decades. Just starting on my Reloading journey, still gathering the equipment but truly looking forward to it.

Is this a 12 step program?
I'm Jeff, I shoot a creedmoor.
I wanted to switch to a 6.5 and had a creedmoor reamer. One thing led to another and you know...

Shot one yesterday for the first time. It’s a great cartridge, almost as good as the 6.5x55. Wonder how such a cartridge that has been around for 125 years has avoided all this hype?

My brother took a Savage model 12FV 6.5 Creedmoor out to the prairie dog towns this year.....It was a stellar performer and tames the wind very well. If I wasn't heavily into the 6XC I'd consider a Creedmoor.....but my 6XC can do 99% of what the Creed can do inside 1000 yards so I'm sticking to it!
Humm. Well I am on the 6XC band wagon myself. 115 DTAC at 3,000+ FPS from the XC is really hard to beat, I mean the 6.5 creed can do ok inside 1000 yards. I have pushed the 115 Berger out of my XC at 3,150 FPS with RL26. BUT the DTAC is High Cotton.

I’ve seen you shoot Jim, you can win with a slingshot!

I put a Hawk Hill 6.5 Creedmoor barrel on my Accuracy International, and it seems like it's going to be a hammer.

I also have a 6 Creedmoor barrel that is somewhere in the mailbox.

With Lapua, Alpha, and Peterson brass...there are lots of good options for it that weren't around a few years ago.

My standard load is around 42.5gr of H4350 behind any manufacturers 140gr bullet jumped 20 thousandths. It just seems to work in everything I try it in. Velocity is right around 2830fps for 26 inch barrels.

I am shooting around 37g in my 6.5x47, right at 2800 fps, the 140ish grain bullets go into small groups.

Custom 6.5/06 and 6.5x55 are going down the road, my creed uses 5g more powder than the '47.

I have two creedmoors. A size 42 Hardback shooting coat and the 3/4 inch spotting scope stand.(Couldn't resist).

1+ on the 303 British ... but will only exceed 6.5Creed accuracy if you have the bolt locking lugs way down the back and not up front (am sure everyone knows that accuracy trick)

As of yesterday, my Tikka t3x lite CM is officially a dual purpose gun. I won the only two factory gun matches I took it to this yr, and yesterday I put the same match winning 139gr scenar load thru a big doe. A finger sized hole with one nicked rib on entrance, and 2 ribs and a 1 1/2 - 2" exit hole. Works for me.

I only have ONE 6.5 Creed in the safe(s)...I built it for my 14 year old daughter for a light handy hunting rifle...do I still have to be ashamed???? I do have a 22 Creedmoor for a coyote rifle, that’s OK isn’t it? Several others are in 6.5 and 6mm x47 Lapua’s. Have a 6XC in the works now.

You have disgraced your family name. :)

The man in the shop said the one on the right is one of them 6.5 Creedmoor's. Bigger than a 308 Win (on left). Kicks a bit they say.

Looks almost like on of those new 6.5supercreedmoors, shoots a 140gr bullet so fast its starts mushrooming halfway to the target. Turns a .264 hunting bullet into a buffalo slayer
