Imagine a parent telling their kid they named them after a stripper. That is almost as bad as my buddy named Tripp, who’s dad told him in high school that he did a lot of acid with Tripp’s mom and they came up with his name while doing acid at a Dead show in San Francisco……….ahhh ok Dad, that’s for telling me, that’s not awkward at all. I've never tried it, but I've known a few dudes who must have been covered with the stuff.A very well credentialed knowledgeable engineer friend of mine told me that tungsten-DI-sulfide is 3 times slipperier than moly.
Has anyone here tried it~?
Hi, which brand of tungsten disulfide do you use when you tumble the bullets? I did a quick web search and found several different products. Thanks, E.I started using the tungsten de sulfide last year with a new gun cut down on cleaning at matches notice that last summer 75deg the barrel didn't get as hot during a match don't know but I like it I cost a 1000 at a time in my tumbler
Been using it for a number of years, impact plated bullets with BB’s in a tumbler, messy process. Switched to wet tumbling a couple of years ago, nice and easy. Like moly, velocity is down a small amount, not enough to matter IMO, but accuracy is great. No issues with cleaning, I actually don’t see any difference with WS2 or not. Easily shoot 150+ rounds over a two day match without cleaning or loss of accuracy. Could go more, but never tested beyond a two day match.A very well credentialed knowledgeable engineer friend of mine told me that tungsten-DI-sulfide is 3 times slipperier than moly.
