Anybody use AA 4064 in .308???

I'm looking for an alternative to Varget in my .308 using Sierra 175 gr Match Kings. Anybody have any experience with the Accurate Arms powders?

I have not used the AA4064 yet but have used a lot of AA powders. They are very good powders and used to be a bit cheaper than IMR. The IMR 4350 and the AA 4350 are almost identical. I use them side by side with the same load data and come up with about the same results about like using different lots of the same powder. I would suspect that the 4064s are about the same. The AA 2520 is a ball powder in the burn rate ball park of Varget, it is great in the 308.

yes i use 44.5 grains of 4064 with 168 gr bullets get great accuracy chronographed at 2700 fps,,, hope this helps u i am also shooting a rem700vls hvy bbl.
