Anybody know about this..? AK question....

I have a pre-ban Norinco MAK-90 that was my father's.... I know these guns and parts are expensive because they can no longer be imported... It shoots great , just shot it today...

I would like to install a new recoil spring but am not sure if any AK recoil spring would work or if I would have to try to find a pre 1994 Norinco spring which would probably be impossible to find a new one , since Clinton banned them in 1994... If any AK spring will work , who do you recommend to buy parts from..?

Just FYI I got an answer from Atlantic , it seems the parts are basically interchangeable like an AR....

I have a MAK -90 and you are correct. They do shoot good. I thought the only difference was the furniture. All other parts should interchange.
