I do a lot of fishing with my wife of 33 years. We also hunt quite a bit.

We landed over 300 salmon last year along with good numbers of lake trout and brookies. A moose and a deer fell to some of my reloads. 3DBA4746-3917-40CE-91B3-4627377E6985.jpeg

Love your projects. Built a 61 Ghia with 356 Porsche disc brakes around, Hewland 5 speed, and an RX4 bridgeported rotary with Racing Beat intake and 650CFM Holley.
Wow! almost 43 yrs ago.

I like making things. This is a Rocket Stove for suplimental heat for my house, ( no central heat or a/c ). I'm working on plans for several big rocket furnaces for a greenhouse farmer from NY, he has one now that heats a 3000 sq ft minimally insulated 14ft tall house.

I've built a number items over the years and it's funny ,the list just keeps getting longer and longer .

Am currently awaiting a new 40x60x16 shop to be built ,to old now and can't do it by myself . So I can reassemble 34 Tons of MY Old shop ,which is packed inside My 40 ft. container presently . With approximately 4-5K BDFT of Exotic woods . Including last of the legal Thai Teak in 12/4 ,along with stuff NO longer available . MY master plan ,was to build some XXX Walnut Stocks with Ebony and Rosewood caps

I'd love to see a Teak stock with ebony accents.

There’s a lot of car people here. Are there any fighters? I thought there be more jui-jitsu, boxing, wrestler, kick boxers here. Does anyone want to fight me? I need to knock the rust off…

and get my butt kicked…like the good ole days. Lol

I used to box when I was younger. Also did some martial arts. Too old for that stuff to be fun anymore, but I can still do it when I need to.

Turning out to be a habit. () Sisters house full of her STUFF. She enjoyed buying STUFF and living in one place for over 40+years. No CRAP, spent good $$$ on her stuff. Have put off selling the house for over 2 years. Got one gal interested so I'am working on the probate thing now. She wants it BAD so that gave me the incentive to start moving. . Made me an offer I couldn't refuse. ;) Young, lots of energy and the $$$ to back it.
No kids so Sister spent BIG $$$$ on "dolls". $350.00 to $500.00 a pop. Figured she could turn around and sell them and make a few $$? See the same dolls listed on Ebay for $50.00 or best offer and NOT moving. I check the house and pick up any bills that have come in. None of the family needs $$$ so no hurry to sell.
I can only spend so much time in the house. When I hear the dolls talking to, I hit the door!!:oops:
Just got rid of all her photo albums. Trips to Russia, Australia, Hong Kong, England, Alaska, a couple of cruises and traveling all over the United States. A few pictures of her and the rest, who knows. All gone by by. That's a start. :)

Perfect little addition for your outdoor cooking area ...

Ive been racing motorcycles since i was a very young lad so off road riding is a hobby i have had since my first 1978 honda i still have. Heres a toy i just built for poker runs just for showing out a bit. My brother has a 350x and i replaced my overbore 250r with this. Had to sacrifice one of my mx bikes for it but it sure is a lot of fun.

I, too, had a 350x........glad I survived it:oops::D

Weight prohibitive ,as we're no longer allowed to posses gun bearers is the word .

There are a multitude of exotic woods ,which are only slightly heavier than walnut ,which are super stable once dried properly and will make excellent stocks . Of course colors vary widely . Several species of Rosewoods would make excellent stocks . From the Dalbergia genesis . Pistacia vera or Pistachio wood ,problem with that is finding a mature tree for cutting ,as most people prefer their nuts ,to losing a tree .
Greenheart Chlorocardium rodiei and purpleheart Peltogyne spp. of which I do have Both . Also a few species which I shipped in from Australia and perhaps 8-10 of those are of the Euclyptus geneisis . Very stable in service one must simply know the species ,as there are over 751 including hybrids in that family alone .
