Anybody get gun stuff for Christmas?

My wife and daughter bought me a pair of OTTO NoiseBarrier High Def Electronic earplugs, should be here soon. They also went in with my MIL to get me cash towards a new action for a new F-Open rig I am going to put together, I just have to call Jim Borden and decide what I want. Did I say what a great wife, daughter and MIL I have.

My buddy stop by and dropped these USGI trigger groups for my projects: my 7 yo grandson's NM M1a, my 338 Federal M1a hunter that has been taking too long in the making. Need to get some motivation to start cutting on the 1.25 blank. M14/M1a barrels are just a pain on a manual lathe and mill.

My in-laws bought me a 419 press and I got an Autotrickler on order among other reloading/gun goodies. I gave a few guns away as gifts, my wife and daughter love guns more than me so I’m both blessed and cursed since I normally have to buy three’s of everything lol. I’m not complaining though, they put up with me so I’d give them anything they wanted.

My wife ordered a Geissele SSA trigger as a Christmas gift for our son from Palmetto State Armory. He told her he wanted the SSA-E trigger but she ordered the SSA. This week my wife contacted Palmetto State to arrange for an exchange.
Gabrielle in PSA customer service replied in an e-mail recommending that we contact the manufacturer for information about their warranty/repair programs.
We responded, that this was not a warranty or repair issue. We ordered the wrong trigger and it was still in the original box and that we merely wanted to exchange it for the SSA- E trigger.
Palmetto State's last e-mail response was "Unfortunately, it is past the 30 day window for returns. Thanks for choosing Palmetto State Armory."

My wife called Palmetto State by phone and received nothing but argument, no satisfaction at all.

Fortunately, I contacted Geissele and though it is not their policy to accept this type of return, they would this time only, swap the unit, out of the Spirit of Christmas.

So we now opened an account with Geissele and Palmetto State will be chalked up as a learning lesson.
We never again deal with Palmetto State again, no matter how good a price they publish.

There are still companies with a lot of class. and Geissele is certainly on top, a company that I look forward to buying from directly in the future.

Check with your credit card company. If you used a card , they might be able to help.
