Anybody do a 6.5x47L Imp with a bore rider throat?

I'm thinking about doing either a 6.5x47L with the neck shortened to caliber length and no other changes or the same with a bit less taper and a 40 degree shoulder. I want to run a 20" barrel with a suppressor but I'd like to try and get the velocity up around where a standard 6.5x47L is in a 26-28". The bore rider throats are suppose to be good for around 100fps. A lot of the powder charges result in a pretty full case in a standard and with the bore rider design you need to up the powder charge so that is the reasoning behind the improved version. If it adds more velocity then all the better. I know a few on here run improved versions but I haven't heard of any bore rider/stepped throats. Anyone with bore rider/stepped throat experience? Or any other feedback on it?

Bore rider nose's is normally a discussion about pure/hardened lead type bullets (without jackets) used in a different kind of shooting.
I would suggest you go to boolits.com (their spelling), and ask your question.
Be careful who you ask! 44Man is the only one over there I would trust with a correct answer and help!
He is completely honest and trustworthy, NOT someone to doubt in any way shape or form!

Between that and the small rifle primer pockets, I did end up with a lot fuller case of 4350 than I had predicted.

That is why I'm thinking about doing a improved version of a 6.5x47L. In a standard the case is pretty full using 4350 so it needs a bit more capacity for a bore rider. Shorten the neck to a caliber length and add a sharper shoulder. Taking taper out wouldn't add much capacity as it only has .014" now.

There's a thread on BRCentral about the 6PPC bore rider reamer. Something you may be interested in.
