I bought the store clerks each a ticket back when the big jackpot was going, since then I have bought a shared ticket each time I come in for the Missouri lotto. The wasted dollar isn’t wasted now and it seems to keep them smiling when I come in. They give me a discount so I’m not out anything anyway but we are really having fun with it. We have won $25 so far so !!
Prior to this I had never condoned this wasted money and voted against any casinos in our state which finally passed.

Even a slim chance is better than no chance. It wasn't designed to be easy to win or there'd probably be little interest since most folks would still end up in the hole. Most people don't have to look very hard to find places where they've spent $2 more foolishly than on lottery tix.

remember it only takes a dollar or two to win.
