Any word on the Labradar App?

anyone have any news of the new App for Labradar?

The last news on their website is 2016

What is the app supposed to do?

Forum Boss: It is a mobile App that will let you control the LabRadar with a smart phone wirelessly (via bluetooth I think). There are some other features, but the main thing is being able to change settings more easily. And this should make it easier to export data.

I called them last week and was told, "Soon, in the next couple of weeks". I can only hope. My home range has changed and I really need this app, bad!

This is great news. I hate trying to remember how to use it again when its been a while
LOL!!

I taped a note on the base..... #1, "plug it in".... #2, "push and hold the button with the circle thingy on it." "ooops, not too long"....., #3, heck I can't remember #3 I'll have to go read the note....... etc...

I'm an ex-geek..... I was born a geek, raised a nerd and proudly claimed my scholarly wonkiness for years. "The harder a thing is to figger out, the greater the reward"

But NOW?? No Way..... I get it but I don't accept it.

IMO the machine should go like this..."turn it on"...."fire"....= velocity reading= DONE!

And there will be a button or buttons marked "settings" and "advanced settings" and "properties" and "management" and "manual" and on and on andonandon for those guys who believe that SD is real.

But for ME, "ON" should equal "FIRE"

Not being an engineer, I would guess it's about power. Like when the transmitter and receiver should get some as opposed to not getting any.

To me it's about "being an engineer".......

So make a liddle sign, "press once to rearm", there's room to write a freakin' Owner's Manual on the front of that thing.

I believe on mine I have to press 1 for English

I could use a remote. Prone with a long barrel reguires me to get up or at least really reach to start next series. If I could do that with a remote that would be nice. Heck wired remote would be fine.

As long as we are on the Labradar what does everyone set their distances at for measurements? 0, 2, 10, 20 ????
