It's getting cold up here in the frozen tundra.

Any warm weather shoots this winter?

Bayou Rifles in Texas shoots all year... Every FIRST Sunday of the month is 1000 yards, 2nd Sunday is XTC, 3rd Sunday is either 300 or 600.. It alternates from one month to the next..

Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol in Palm Bay, fl operates all winter. The second weekend of the month is a 600 yard Mid Range prone and F=Class match.

Of course we are hosting the 7th annual Snowbird X-Miss Match the end of December. Always a lot of fun.

Terry, If you want to shoot 1000, you go to Cool Acres, Ga. and shoot all week end. Double match Sat and Sunday, check the 2015 tentative schedule and pick a week end………… jim

I will second this match i went last year and had a great time. The weather was nice and snow free, the match was run very well and the competitors that shows up to this event are world class.

For those used to the "middle latitudes", NSSC will be holding their annual Ironman Match at Camp Butner on 6 and 7 December (5 individual 1000's and a 1000 team match, practice opportunity on Friday afternoon). This match holds me over until the SWN's in Phoenix in February! Keep an eye to the weather!
