Any turkey hunters out there?

So I posted this in 2018, and it’s ironic it got going again. In 2018 I started applying for one of the the extremely difficult to draw Goulds tags in Arizona. After five years, I got lucky and drew one of eight NR and less than 100 total resident and non-resident tags for the state. Today was first day of my hunt. It was outstanding as we heard had multiple birds gobbling and heard literally hundreds of gobbles. This one caps off the Royal Slam which is the Eastern, Merriam’s, Rio, Osceola and Goulds turkey sub-species. I will need to make another spot on the wall!

Yes sir. Called 3 birds in in 4 sits. They all came to within 10 yards of bind.

The rest of the year has been great also, couple stud birds, one in ks and 4 bearded here in wi. My second in ks was light worry only 3 tail feathers. My buddy killed a bird with 3 big beards in ks also
