ANY SCOPE MFG CO PLANNING ON SELLING A SCOPE BIGGER THEN A MAC 8-80 X ?


Turblant turtle ... not complaining about scope Mfg company not sharing secrets with me. We don't want secrets on making the scopes just want the scopes built for a price. I am complaining that they tried to milk our group of investors over 6 emails and a 1 hour conversation to Japan that cost a ton of money. Instead of saying no sorry are company is not interested in giving your company a quote on a 100x power scope in the 1st paragraph of a email. They chose to email me 6 times and ask dozens of questions and then follow up with a 1 hour with over seas phone call that I had to start from my end because they made it sound like they would be interested in making the scope. All they had were questions for me on marketing strategies and who I was going to sale scopes too. The scopes can be built no problem and this company knows it and just wants to use other people's marketing strategies. Like I said Japan / china companies use your idea ( not steal your idea , big difference ) , pump you for info on how you will market it under the false hood of getting a quote for you ) then copy , copy , copy your marketing strategies then make the product and use your own words against you from the original quote process with them. I have seen it before many times. Mark my words , I bet if our group cannot find a manufacture to produce these scopes for us some one will have a 100x power scope on market soon. Marty
 
Marketing strategies are absolutely necessary for you to succeed. Manufacturers don't want to see a supplier fail, they employ their own marketing personnel, and are quite capable of designing the scope. You are wasting your time with emails and phone calls. If you are not willing to set up a time to meet with the manufacturer, they are not going to take you seriously. The answers you provide to the questions they ask give them a pretty good idea of whether you would be successful with your endeavor, and you'll have to show proof that you have the money to pay for the merchandise. They can't possibly offer a price quote to you without knowing exactly what your wants are. Write up your proposal, make an appointment, fly out there and give it your best shot.

I own a March 8x80, I shoot 1,000 BR and @ 80x all I can see is my target...nothing to the left or right..target looks so close I could ''spit and hit'' it.
The FOV should be something close to 13 feet at 1000 yards @ 80X according to my calculations.

Your target must be double the size of an F-class/Highpower target if you can't see anything but the target.
 
JRS.. I did not realize you were a expert on bring a new product to market place. How many products have you brought to the market ? We have brought 14 products to market. In all cases we have met with our MFG REP , only after a understanding in writing of what both of us are signing up for. Like i said , this is not are first rodeo , we have done this before and have forgot more about marketing a product then most be know. Will see what the future holds. Marty

2 products. Both were successful. JRT and REYES. With your vast amount of knowledge and experience, you should have no questions, and zero problems. Which scope manufacturer are you trying to deal with?

JRS...you are correct sir. No problems on our side , just with the Japanese / China business culture of using a false hood questioning tactic against USA companies to copy their marketing plan and to bring the product to market themselves. Like i said in previous post we are trying and it can be done but we have a very up hill battle that i shared. Not because their is no practical use for 100X power scope or no interest from the consumer. The up hill battle is trying to find a honest company to work with in this world business environment were in. Kind of like the Patient Process to get a patient and after you get your patient you would have to spend millions to fight some one from stealing your idea. i am at the point it is not worth having a patient but that is another story for a different day. Ha ha ha. Not a Dr but I did stay in Hoiday Inn last night .....Sorry on the spelling. I had detached Retina in Feb and after $30,000 in operations still cannot see. I have not shot a gun since Jan 9 2017 and I am trying to get a 100x power scope built. Crazy. I Have 4th laser eye operation 10/24. I hope. An at least see enough to get glasses. I would not wish this on any one. Word should be
" Patent " I should have the spelling memorized after the money I have wasted on getting a couple of them. Never again. Not worth the paper they are written on. Marty
