I wanted to see for myself so I did order one:I read some good reviews over at Rimfirecentral.com
The scope some say are the old 44 mag: Simmons they are made in the Philippines not China and there are owned by ATK who now owns weaver.
I can say not a bad scope would be a tad up from the Bushnell line out of China.
I find the glass excellent clarity seem to loose a little on the 10 power otherwise for 49.00 bucks i think it a great deal.I will have to test it at the range and I here if it replace from the factory they will replace with a 44/40 weaver.
