Need another Scope.....

So I'm graduating a Mark V HD from a 6.5 gun to a new home (6 Dasher) and need a replacement scope for the 6.5.

The problem lies here. My new scope budget lies around the $ 800 range, which puts me in the Vortex Strike Eagle camp.
Another problem, the Strike Eagle is made in China, not the Philippines as are their higher end scopes.
I'd rather not buy China stuff, but..........
I already have a Strike Eagle on another gun and really like it. Surely their must be something else out there....

Accepting nominations for another scope (25 power) that's fits the budget, that is made somewhere other than China or Moscow.

MEOPTA IS a good choice along with an used Sightron, but I will throw out a flyer. I have a Hawke Sidewinder on a high end Springer airgun. Everyone who looks through it says Wow that is really bright and clear. It now has about 2000 shots from a scope killer air gun and no problems. Etched reticle and illuminated. POI retention and repeatability has been flawless. Scope lists for close 1000.00, I found it on a sale at Dvor for 397.00. I have quite a few high end scopes for many times the price but at this point it needs not take a back seat to any of them. You might check the Hawke website then go looking. Oh, lifetime warranty. For any glass snobs choking on yor AllBran, take it easy, you'll get over it.

What is your experience with Burris scopes?

I guess Meopta flew under my radar. Looking into them this morning. They look nice, lots of reticle options. Love to look through one....

If you prefer FFP, they offer them in that reticle configuration as well. Also have a 5-30x56 ED model but they only offer that one in FFP
