Any input on this front rest?

If you run a tall front rest you may need to use spacers under the rear bags.

the rest pictured in the adverstment looks like it has the 1” spacer under the windage adjustment block, I would order it without to start with and see how it goes.

Which has been my point all along, keeping center of gravity low to the bag surface, understand. There have been several mentions of 5 inch rest height and I just don't get it. Shooter must be comfortable.

What is your opinion on why you want the rest so low to the bench top? Would it make more sense to shoot prone and get the rest lower? Or move to an area of the country 100 feet above sea level? Instead of 760 feet above? In all seriousness, what is the purpose of keeping a gun low to the bench? Why the need for 5 inch?
I’m not saying 5” is or is not what you need. Was simply relaying the info from the manufacturer on what his rest is for anyone that’s interested.
