Has anyone ever had 1st hand experience with this rest? Length of time it has been on market? Anyone using in benchrest? This is alot like a JJ LOH.
Waiting on reply from manufacturer.

The quality of the rest appears to be there in the pictures. It is pretty refined in finish.

All I need to see... I already have a Neo X and my asking questions may be indicative of something.

I've never seen anyone run the screw that high, it's asking for trouble in my opinion.
There is a reason there are leveling screws and I believe it's called gross or coarse elevation on a Sinclair.
That collar that sits in the base then the screw screws into it so between the two of them you can keep the screw low/deep in the collar and the collar clamped down.
I haven't owned a Sinclair for a year now and haven't shot off one for 2-3 years but isn't there also a screw to lock the elevation screw down???
I want to say there is but can't recall. I'll find one tomorrow and look.

I considered the Stukey rest for awhile, right up to the point I saw the price on it. I guess he thinks anyone whose unwilling to pay his price "can't afford it" but there is a difference LOL

Been many matches won and records shot on the Sinclair and it has a few shortcomings. All correctable or avoidable once you recognize them and take action.

Having owned both the JJ Loh and the Sinclair Comp I'll say the JJ is a better quality rest. I bet the Stukey is too but I doubt I'll ever find out. I've yet to see one in the wild so I'm guessing no one can afford one LOL

The price of that thing is ridiculous, also for the added parts prices.... I mean $599 for a hard case you can get online or at Harbor Freight for about $79. for a little more than the base price you can get a Lenzi rest, you can get a new SEB for a few hundred dollars less than the base price and the base price doesn't include a bag...... An extra top is $700+ !!!!!!

Have you looked at the price of that Stukey rest?

IMO, at least for short range, you need a rest that allows the plate that the bag sits on to get down to around 5" above the bench top with the points deployed. That rest seems to be too tall. The one that it is a knock off of would go a lot lower.

Boyd,
Please explain more. I am not arguing, wanting to understand. Why does rest height matter? Isn't barrel torque associated with weight/mass all above the bags? Trying to keep weight as low in bags as possible?
Other than I can see a higher rest having more flex as demonstrated in Stukey's video. Why does height matter?

It appears all the pictures shown on the Revolution site are with the optional 1” riser installed. I sent an email asking what the minimum height of the bag plate is. I will report back if I get an answer.

I received a reply from Dennis at Revolution machine and he states that without the 1” riser installed the minimum height of the bag plate with feet deployed is 5”.
