Any good gas gun 6ARC loads?

Based on well established 6.5 Grendel load data, LeverEvolution generates greatest velocity for heavy bullets, with CFE223 being next fastest.

ARComp and H4895 are identical in performance even though they’re not same powder. I use either depending on availability. These two powders are #3 for speed, but also less temperature sensitive with lower ES/SD. Definitely want to include this powder in your load testing for 6ARC.

22" Craddock RTR barrel

85 SMK
CCI 450
starline brass

30.4gr CFE223 = 2853 ES 27 SD 16.6

27.1gr AR Comp = 2839 ES 12 SD 4.7

Both 0.4's 5 shot groups @ 100yd at temp tested.

I tested 35F - 80F with these sams loads and saw a 4FPS Swing with AR Comp in that temp range where I saw a 76fps swing with CFE223 in that same temp range...

Also a lot less powder for damn near identical velocity and accuracy with AR Comp. 14fps difference.

Accuracy and consistency over velocity all day long for me. And the guys really hammering velocity in 6 ARC those loads are way over pressure in an AR per QL..

I will probably try H4895 because it what I do. I have seen AR Comp mentioned since I jumped into the 6ARC for decent speed, very good accuracy, and consistency, but that time has passed for me. I really don't have the space for more powder and Allaint loves their stuff (or the distributors do). I have a large amount of H4895 and N540 and that isn't a bad place to be.

Padom, I do notice when using lighter weight bullets with CFE, I do not always get single digit sd's. I typically can depend on very low sd's with N540, 8208, and Varget. I love a low sd, but if the bullets are standoffish on the target, who cares.

I am not unhappy with CFE223, and my "one load" with it is as good as I would hope for. Others may complain about CFE and LeverRevolution being dirty, and I get it. I shoot with suppressors in these rifles 98.7% of the time so dirty is a by-product.

Flow through 3D printed suppressors (or whatever you want to call them) do make a difference on the dirty, and they make printed suppressors that rival high back pressure baffled suppressors for noise reduction now (Radical Defense LS-5TI and LS-3TI for me). That's another subject though.

I have been seriously bench rest shooting IBS/Freedom for a few years with bolt guns. Some of us just for fun decided to shoot AR platforms at 600 yards.
About suggested loads. I had Varget and sierra 107 match kings and CCI 41 primers.
The Varget loadings were much slower than the Leverevolution in a 22 inch Ranier ultra match barrel. I a, currently shooting 105 Berger HIbreds in Starline and Hornaday cases. These groups 300 yards hot day mirage.
