6ARC with AR-Comp powder

Any load data anywhere? AR-Comp is good with 224 V in an AR platform. I'm hoping it might work with 6ARC (AR15) but can't find any load data. And I got a ton of AR-Comp for my 224 Va bolt gun.

Thanx.

Both of these loads are in an AR-15 so NOT hot. In a 6.5 grendle 107 smk Fed 400 primer 27.5 AR comp hammers. The 6 arc is using the same bullet 26.5 gr and with a 90 grsierra tgk 27.1 are amazing 1/2 moa and under. 107 smk oal using a compurator 1.705 and the 90 same compurator 1.690. I am pretty sure I got the info off Alliants site.

I Thx !

m looking at 70 Noslers. 12.5 bbl 450 mag primers.

Are the loads above bolt or semi?

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any sistart.Load data on alliants site.

Looking at the burn rate chart the AR comp powder in my opinion is quite possible too fast.
Interesting point. Using LeveRevolition and I'm getting a huge fireball out the suppressor.

I was thinking a faster powder might be good. I'm also running a Riflespeed adjustable gas. 7.25 twist barrel.

You think that'll get me what I need?

In my opinion loading for the 6 ARC in an AR15 requires a detailed thought process. I again read your first post to make sure I didn't miss it the first time because now you're talking a suppressor and a fireball but in your first post you didn't and with the critical control requirement on pressure in an AR15 in 6 ARC, details matter.

I believe in purpose built rifles and if a suppressed AR15 was my goal, chambering in 6MM ARC would not have been my choice.

Having said that I can only suggest a faster powder to reduce flash but reduced pressure loads, not necessarily significantly reduced loads but not peak loads. Also, reducing charge weights and reworking loads in detail for every new lot of powder.

The bolt face being larger and the resulting reduced mass of the lugs makes the design sensitive to steep peak pressure curves and pressure/timing during cycling. Faster powders, non standard buffers non standard weight bolts and carrier groups along with suppressors will affect that timing ergo the pressure on the lugs during extraction. A large amount of bolt fractures that I've read about are with hand loads using faster powders at on near published peak loads. I've read of none with rifles that have only used factory loads.

I only use LeverEvolution powder with heavier projectiles but the use for my rifle is different.
