Center-X not Tenex. What does the 457 MTR Varmint like?
Mine shoots good.I just bought a CZ 457 VPT MTR, I got it out of jail a couple days ago and have a scope on the way. I have used the Yo Dave trigger mode on a 452 Varmint in the past and I am thinking I would like to try the timney 10 ounce on this rifle.
The 16.5" barrel is hard to get used to. We will see how it shoots
Great shooting ,what ammo? Question, how are these scored as far as breaking the line? What if the bullet diameter is still inside but line is ripped ? Looks like the 50 you got on the first target is very close to being a 100....Mine shoots good.View attachment 1339726
Looks great, what ammo ended up working well? I have a brick of SK rifle match and a brick of Center X to get started withMine shoots good.View attachment 1339726
So you are saying everything needs to be in side the blue? Rips tears and all?100% inside the center bull 100 pts, if it breaks out at all 50 pts. It’s called worst edge scoring.
No, it can touch but not go outside the outer edge. We have a computer program that scores, but some have to be plugged and viewed with a magnifier. Shouldn’t be any rips or tears. So you are saying everything needs to be in side the blue? Rips tears and all?

Have you first tried adjusting the CZ trigger? On my two 457s, I got one down to 7-8 oz and the other to one pound. The latter I worked on with a spring upgrade and it too ended up around 7 oz. Although I'm sure the Timney has other features to recommend it.I just bought a CZ 457 VPT MTR, I got it out of jail a couple days ago and have a scope on the way.
